Design and Application of Interference Fit between Cylindrical surfaces  Yang Peng,Wang Chao
Abstract: The paper explains the features of interference fit and takes the connection between the connection rod and main shaft of the plate turnover of a plate mill for example to carry out the calculation and analysis in detail with empirical method, analytical method and numerical method (finite element method) respectively and points out what is supposed to consider for the design of interference fit between cylindrical surfaces.

Automatic Tiered Warehouse Facility For Spare Part Storage  Liu Jinliang,Zhao Yuntao
Abstract: An automatic tiered warehouse facility can be built in idle workshops to store spare articles and parts, which results in high utilization rate of resources and low operation cost. A dedicated computer network system manages the warehouse facility and shares the data with all teminals. This enable the user to establish atuomatic and specialized warehouse logistic solutions that allow for proper losgistic and convenient management the basis of current operation status and availabe space.

轧辊用新型锻造高速钢热处理工艺研究

摘要:对新开发的轧辊用锻造高速钢的热处理工艺进行研究,分析淬火及回火工艺对材料组织和性能的影响。研究发现,随着淬火温度的提高,碳化物不断溶解,晶粒持续长大;而在回火过程存在着明显的“二次硬化”现象。研究结果表明,经过1040 ℃淬火+520 ℃回火后,该新型锻造高速钢的硬度可达94.3HSD,满足冷轧工作辊的使用要求。

Study on Heat Treatment to New Forged High-Speed Steel Rolls  Wang Dapeng,Zhao Xichun,Guo Feng
Abstract: The paper studies heat treamtment to new forged high-speed steel rolls and analyses the influence of quenching and tempering processes on the microstructure and properties of materials to reveal that grains keep growing and carbides keeps melting with the increase of quenching temperature and there is abvious “secondary hardening” phenomenon in tempering process. The new forged high-speed steel roll can obtain hardness as high as 94.3HSD after being subject to quenching at 1 040 ℃ and tempering at 520 ℃ and meet the requirement on cold mill rolls.

合金元素对反应堆压力容器用低合金钢的影响

摘要:选择三种反应堆压力容器用低合金钢,考察主要合金元素C、Cr、Ni等和微合金化元素Ti、B等在一定范围内对材料连续冷却过程中相变及淬硬性的影响。结果显示,增加主合金元素和添加微合金化元素可以改变材料在连续冷却过程中的相变行为,显著提高合金的淬透性和淬硬性。

Effect of Alloy Elements on Low Alloy Steel for Reactor Pressure Vessels  Zhao Meilan,Zhao Yue,Zhang Zhe
Abstract: Three types of low alloy steels for reactor pressure vessels were investigated to reveal the effect of master alloy elements C, Cr and Ni and micro-alloy elements Ti and B on the phase transformation and hardenability of the steels during continuous cooling. The increase of master alloy elements content and the addition of micro-alloy elements can change the phase transformation behavior during conitnuous cooling and improve the hardness penetration and hardenability of steels.

铝镇静钢LF精炼渣研究

摘要:采用FactsageApp分析了铝镇静钢LF精炼渣CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-MgO四元渣系的目标优化成分,CaO为50%~55%,Al2O3为30%~36%,SiO2为1%~6%,MgO为4%~8%。通过现场取样得到炼钢分厂8炉铝镇静钢LF精炼出钢前渣样,采用化学分析及XRD分析方法,得到精炼渣的质量分数和主要物相。将实测值与优化值进行了对比分析,指出CaO、Al2O3、SiO2的质量分数都在优化范围附近波动,为达到精炼效果现场操作时要更加稳定;MgO质量分数超出优化范围,建议在VD操作时加强防冲刷、防溅盖措施,同时减少CaF2加入量。

Research on LF Refined Al-Killed Steel Slags  Shi Yijun, Yang Jianchun
Abstract: The optimized target content of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2-MgO series in LF refined Al-killed steel slag was analyzed with Factsage software: CaO is 50%~ 55%, Al2O3 is 30%~ 36%, SiO2 is 1%~6%, MgO is 4%~ 8%.  The sample slag of LF refined Al-killed steel before tapping was taken from the furnace No.8 in the steel melting workshop and analyzed by the means of chemical analysis and XRD analysis to obtain the mass percentage and phase of the slag. The comparison between the actual values and optimized values shows the mass percentage of CaO, Al2O3 and SiO2 is around the optimanzed values respectively, which requires the practice operation at field shall be more stable in order to obtain desired refining result. The mass percentage of MgO exceeds the optimized range, which requires to enhance scouring protection and splasing protection, and decrease the amount of CaF2 to be added in.

Process Preparation and Production of Φ4000 mm Faceplate Body  Li Zhulin
Abstract: A complete reasonable procedure, including melting, molding, pouring, cleaning and heat treatment, has been established for the production of Φ4000 mm faceplate body castings on the basis of the alanysis result of the structure, technical requirement and performance. A casting that was made in accordance with the procedure succeeded in  UT-examination after rough machining and the quality meets the requirement of customers.

Application of Industrial LED Lamps in Steel Castings Cleaning Workshops  Zhang Xinyan,Fu Huanyu
Abstract: The paper describes the performance and energy-saving mechanism of industrical LED lamps and compares with the performance of metal halide lamps. Industrial illumination modification design was carried out with DIALUX software without change of lamp location in a new steel castings cleaning workshop. The comparison between the new and old design shows the the illumination with LED lamps can save energy significantly.

Abstract: The paper studies the reason why the rolling bearings of a high-speed rod mill wear and tear quickly and are consumed in great amount. Pretightening technique can solve the problem, prolong the life time of the rolling bearings, allows for safe and high efficient operation of wire rod mills to produce satisfactory products for markets and lays the good foundation for the subsequent processing of products.

Design and Optimization of Jack Housing of Jackup Platforms  Pang Zhengbo
Abstract: The structure of the jack housing is designed with AutoCAD software. The 3-D geometrical model of the jack housing is established with Patran software and analyzed by the means of finite-element analysis to obtain the maximum stress of the jack housing when the jackup platform is going up and down and clamping. The structure design of the jack housing is optimized and then finalized.
